Addressing Stakeholder Requirementss

Stakeholder Requirements is a concern to every partner within the MATCH Project as problems that arise will affect the usability of the system.

The University Of Glasgow has been performing research into Stakeholder Requirements to address the problems that may occur within their research into Dynamic Configurability.

A system that can configure preferences itself must have an inbuilt ability to combat possible conflicts caused by changes that it makes itself. As the system is developed and its functionality expands, the probability of conflicts increases. To enable the system to counter these problems, many common conflict scenarios are being manually coded into the software. This, however, is not a complete solution as the system may encounter tens of thousands of combinations of scenarios, and it is not feasible to code solutions for all of these. The system must then rely on probability calculations using mathematical models to calculate what path of action it should take depending on the inputs it receives.
