The following are particularly useful commands to remember:
- q
- quits the program. Synonyms are control-D and
control-C.
- n
- moves on to display the next page, or the nth next page
if you prefix it with a numeric value.
- p
- moves back a page (or again, n pages if you provide a
prefixed value.)
- g
- moves to the given page, eg 4g moves to the start
of page 4.
- ^
- moves to the `home' position on a page (normally the
top left corner).
- d
- places the bottom of the page at the bottom of the display window.
