I am a 3rd year PhD student (estimated submission date: October 2010) at the University of Stirling. My work consists of testing PEPA, a process algebra initially designed to evaluate the performance of computer and network systems. In particular, I am trying to use PEPA to model epidemiological systems, and see whether it can be a valid tool in the field.
