Research Interests



Broadly speaking, I am interested in communication and distributed systems. (Publications may be found here.) Though less involved, I am also a fan of network measurement and believe there is too little of it in the world, today. Some of the things I have been or am involved in:
  • Context-awareness and routing for wireless networks
  • Network measurement
  • Networks for developing or adversarial regions
  • Peer-to-peer structures and dynamics.
I am also a staunch advocate of computer science as the science of information. (Brilliant editorials on the subject appear here and here.) Hence, I am always looking for ways to advance the state of the discipline, and our knowledge, through inter-disciplinary efforts and collaborations.
