Louise Bellin

 

I am the MATCH (Mobilising Advanced Technologies for Care at Home) Project Manager. The aim of this project is to develop a research base for advanced technologies in support of social and health care at home.  The project started in November 2005 when it was awarded £1.3m by the Scottish Funding Council.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Overall management of the project 

·        Ensuring requirements of the Scottish Funding Council are met 

·        Ensuring long-term viability and sustainability of the project 

·        Chair of MATCH Executive Board and the Project Advisory Board

·        Member of the Telecare Programme Board,  a Joint Improvement Team National Programme, Scotland

·        Member of the Scottish Government’s Telecare Training Steering Group

·        Member of the Care Technology Research Group and the Communications & Services Research Group, Dept of Computing Science & Maths, University of Stirling

·        Member of the Care Technologies Research Cluster, University of Stirling

Other Stuff:

I volunteer as classroom assistant at Dunblane Primary School, where I’m also a member of the Parent Council Engagement Group. I enjoy hillwalking, swimming and yoga and am a member of the Stirling Canoe Club and a hillwalking group.
