CygnetS: Athena SWAN in Computing Science

CygnetS is a community of those interested in addressing gender equality in computing science: how can we get more women interested in computing, and how do we support women already in computing in their careers. The group is mainly for those in higher education engaged in the Athena SWAN process, but we welcome anyone with an interest in diversity and inclusion more broadly, in education or industry. We are supported by BCS and CPHC.

News

EPSRC commissioned a diversity in ICT report. This will be launched on 27th September 2017. (link to come) We'll be asking people to sign up to the Call for Action to improve the diversity of our disciplines, and to create an inclusive culture for UK ICT.

Past Events

CygnetS 2: a full day workshop bringing together those involved in Athena SWAN. October 28th 2016.
