Dr Carron Shankland plays clarinet
Dr Carron Shankland, Senior Lecturer in Computing Science, recently demonstrated her other skills. At a concert on 9th November 2008, Carron was the soloist in Mozart's Clarinet Concerto (K622), accompanied by the Dunblane Chamber Orchestra. Her enthusiasm and enjoyment of the piece showed in a very competent performance, with good attention to dynamics and phrasing. Carron also brought out the best in tone from her hand-made Peter Eaton clarinet.
