As the subject of this course unit is essentially practical, the formal lectures will be supplemented by supervised practicals. Attendance at these is expected and will be recorded. Practicals will take place in alternating weeks, using the same times as lectures, but different rooms. The first practical will take place on Monday 27th February.

The assignment will involve developing a web service, with deadline 4th May When submitting assignments, it would be helfpul to use a plastic wallet marked clearly with your username or student ID. Avoid stapling or binding sheets such that they are difficult to separate and assess. Note that the University has a formal policy on plagiarism.
Copies of the suggested textbook have been placed in the Reserved Book Room.
