Copies of the practical worksheets will be available here, as the module progresses. The first practial is Wednesday 20th February 2013.

Checkpoints in the practicals contribute towards your final module grade. Note that some checkpoints are worth more than others and that these make up a substantial portion of your grade. Note also that you are expected to do a lot of work outside of class time: treat it as if it were an assignment.

Java Checkpoints: the last chance to get Practicals 1, 2, 3 checked will be the lab on Wednesday 20th March 2013. For Practical 4 it will be the lab of Wednesday 27th March 2013.

  • Practical 1 Checkpoint worth 1.
  • Practical 2 Checkpoint worth 1.
  • Practical 3 Checkpoint worth 2. Last chance to get these first three checkpoints: 20th March.
  • Practical 4 Checkpoint worth 2 (+ bonus 1 for those who like a challenge). Last chance to get these checkpoints: 28th March (note changed practical time).
  • Practical P1 Checkpoint worth 1. First practical about Prolog.
  • Practical P2 Checkpoint worth 1. More on Prolog.
