Presentation and Group Project
In 2011 we are introducing a group wiki project to explore social and
professional issues affecting computing scientists. Each student must
contribute to the group wiki, and give a presentation at their tutorial
after the mid-semester break on their topic.
All information about this assessment is available via Succeed. You
should have been assigned to a wiki group topic, and have access to
building your group wiki.
The Issues group wiki and accompanying presentation are module
requirements. If you do not
contribute to the group wiki and give a presentation you will receive No Grade
for the module.
This rule may be relaxed for students who can show good cause
for failure to submit.
‘Good cause’ may include illness (for which a medical
certificate or
other evidence will be required).
You are encouraged to prepare a PowerPoint presentation for your topic.
The presentation is not assessed.
