Introduction:
The new EPSRC Novel Computation Initiative has funded a total of seven twelve-month Research Clusters across the UK, with an objective to "bring together researchers across the engineering, physical and life sciences with the aims of advancing understanding and application of how alternative systems may organise and process complex, dynamic and uncertain information". The ultimate function of funded Clusters is to prepare interdisciplinary research grant proposals for support from a reserved fund of at least £10M.
This EPSRC funded Cluster Project titled Multiple-model based learning control systems will lead and advance interdiciplinary research in modeling
and control of complex systems. More details on the Cluster, including its
aims, objectives and activities can be found by following the "Other Links"
on the left.
Open Mode Cluster Operation: This Cluster is operating in an open mode: anyone wishing to participate in the Cluster activities, by attending its open meetings etc.,
or to join the Cluster newsgroup or for any comment/suggestion, please contact the Cluster Co-ordinator, Dr. Amir Hussain, E-mail: ahu@cs.stir.ac.uk
